We are proud to offer a variety of classes from beginner, gentle, and restorative yoga to a more challenging workout for those who want it. The level of each class is determined by the teacher and those in attendance, so speak with your instructor at the beginning of your session to get the most out of your class.
Feel the difference Yoga makes and reward yourself with the benefits! Practicing yoga on a regular basis helps reduce stress and keeps stress-related health problems at bay. Yoga helps to keep your weight in check and increases your mood-regulating GABA levels to help ward off anxiety and depression. Better balance, increased flexibility, relief from low back pain, better posture and renewed source of energy are all positive effects of a regular yoga practice.
In a review of 70 previously published studies, it was found that yoga also helps to decrease many cardiovascular disease risk factors, including high blood pressure and oxidative stress, a process involved in the development of atherosclerosis (also known as "clogged" or "hardening of the arteries"). Yoga slowed the disease's progression and improved the participants' risk factors profile.
